This Privacy Policy explains how Scarlett Sings Ltd trading as StageRequests.live uses personal data when providing the StageRequests.live service.
1. Controller and contact
StageRequests.live is operated by Scarlett Sings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Scarlett Sings Ltd is the controller for account, billing, support, waitlist and platform administration data we decide how to use.

2. Data protection law and jurisdiction
We process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations where relevant.
While the service may be accessed internationally, our business operations and primary data protection compliance are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
3. Information we collect
We may collect account details, performer name, business or stage name, email address, login details, subscription status, Stripe customer or subscription IDs, support messages, beta tester status and waitlist details.
The service may also store song libraries, genres, gig details, request page settings, branding, social links, PayPal details, audience request names, requested songs, messages, tip indicators and audience email addresses where email features are used.
Technical information such as IP address, browser, device information, security logs, timestamps and usage records may be processed for security, operation and support.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts, provide request pages and stage screens, process subscriptions, send service emails, operate beta controls, manage waitlists, provide support, maintain security, improve the service and meet legal/accounting obligations.
Audience request information is used to deliver song request functionality to the performer and, where enabled and lawfully permitted, related audience engagement features.
5. Lawful bases
We rely on contract where processing is needed to provide the service, legitimate interests for platform security, support, improvement and business administration, legal obligation for accounting and compliance, and consent where required, including for certain marketing or non-essential cookies.
6. Emails and marketing
We send service emails such as registration, welcome, trial, expiry, billing, support and account messages.
Marketing communications are only sent where there is an appropriate lawful basis or the user has actively opted in. Users may unsubscribe using links provided in marketing emails where applicable.
If an audience member provides an email address during a song request but does not tick the marketing opt-in box, the address may be used only for a short transactional acknowledgement/welcome email and is deleted after 7 days if no opt-in is recorded.
7. Waitlist subscribers
If you join the StageRequests.live waitlist, we use your name and email address to record your interest, manage beta or launch communications, and tell you when access may become available.
You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time by contacting support@stagerequests.live.
8. Payments and Stripe
Payments and subscription management are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details under its own terms and privacy documentation.
We store limited billing information such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan status, trial status and payment status. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes.
9. Service providers and processors
We use trusted third-party providers to help operate the service, including Stripe for payments, Fasthosts for hosting and infrastructure, and Brevo for email delivery where configured.
These providers process information as needed to deliver their services and are expected to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality measures.
We may also use professional advisers, support tools, security tools or analytics tools where reasonably required for the operation and protection of the business.
10. International transfers
If you access the service from outside the United Kingdom, your information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United Kingdom and other countries where our service providers operate.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, adequacy arrangements, contractual protections or other lawful mechanisms for international transfers.
11. Retention
We keep account, song, gig, request and billing records while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for support, audit, security, accounting, legal and operational reasons.
Subscribed audience contacts are retained until consent is withdrawn, the performer deletes them, or the account/data is otherwise removed under our retention processes.
Audience email addresses collected without marketing opt-in are retained for up to 7 days for request acknowledgement/welcome-email purposes only, then automatically deleted if they have not become subscribed contacts.
If you ask us to delete data, we will assess what can be deleted and what must be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, account access controls and secure password storage practices.
No web app can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should use strong passwords, keep devices secure and report suspected issues promptly.
13. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

14. Updates
We may update this policy as the service, subscriptions, international payments, tools and legal requirements develop. The version number and last updated date identify the current policy.
